Day 1 Arrival and City Orientation
Arrive in Amsterdam and meet your tour representative before transferring to your accommodation. After checking in, enjoy a walking tour of the city to introduce key landmarks and discuss Amsterdam’s reputation for innovation, sustainability, and forward-thinking design. Evening meal at the hotel followed by a welcome briefing and group quiz themed around science and discovery.
Day 2 NEMO Science Museum & Canal Cruise
Start the day with an exciting visit to the NEMO Science Museum, where five floors of interactive exhibits bring topics like energy, forces, light, and chemistry to life. In the afternoon, take a guided canal cruise to learn how Dutch engineering and environmental science keep this city afloat. Evening group dinner and reflection session.
Day 3 Micropia & Museum Vrolik
Begin with a visit to Micropia, the world’s only museum dedicated to microbes. Students will learn about microbiology, disease, and the unseen ecosystems all around us through hands-on exhibits and microscope stations. In the afternoon, continue to Museum Vrolik to explore anatomy and medical science through fascinating historical collections. Optional evening workshop or leisure time.
Day 4 Amsterdam Science Park & Departure
After breakfast, travel to Amsterdam Science Park for a guided visit exploring sustainable technology, data science, and renewable energy research. Depending on flight times, enjoy a final group discussion or visit to a local market before transferring to the airport for the return journey.
